About the qLab Network
The qLab Network is Alberta’s first facilities dedicated to quantum research and fabrication, driving innovation, training and commercialization in quantum technologies.
Spanning over 8,000 sq. ft., the qLab Network includes:
- qLab North: 4,000+ sq. ft. of advanced cleanrooms (Class 10,000, 1,000, and 100)
- qLab South: 4,500 sq. ft. of support labs and workshops for precision fabrication
Researchers at the qLab Network can develop cutting-edge quantum devices, including photonic circuits, superconducting qubits, and optomechanical sensors, using state-of-the-art facilities that support the next generation of quantum technologies.
Quantum City's qLab Network
The qLab Network is Alberta’s first quantum-focused fabrication and research facility network, offering advanced cleanrooms and precision nanofabrication tools to accelerate quantum innovation, prototyping and commercialization. Open to both academia and industry, it bridges discovery and application while training the next generation of quantum researchers and experts.
