At Quantum City, we capture quantum technology's benefits by offering the facilities and culture to create adoption pathways.
Quantum City's qLab
The University of Calgary and Quantum City’s qLab will be a state-of-the-art quantum fabrication facility, designed to support the growing needs of quantum research and technology markets. Spanning 465 square meters, qLab will feature multiple Class 10000, 1000, and 100 cleanrooms, providing the ultra-clean environment essential for precision manufacturing. The facility will enable the fabrication of quantum devices such as photonic circuits, superconducting qubits, and optomechanical sensors, key components in quantum logic and memory systems. Groundbreaking for qLab is planned for late 2024.
